May Wedding Flowers

April showers bring May flowers. How many times have you heard that? I know for me I hear it at least three to four times a year. This could just be because people get miserable around April with all the rain, but I prefer to think of it because of all the flowers that come up in May.

April seems to have a lot of flowers out in season after the winter season, however, once May comes strolling around you realize how little of a selection April really had. May wedding flowers are amazing, they are beautiful, and demand the attention of the guests of this wonderful ceremony.

This can of course become a downfall like in April, if there isn’t a restraint on the flowers someone might have the most beautiful flowers out for everyone to see and be chocked out by the neighboring flower. There is a find line between excellence and disaster. With excellence you have the right amount of each type of flower, the flowers just seem to mold together and complement each other so well that all you see is the big picture. Then there is the capability of disaster, where you get the same flowers over done and instead of complementing each other they contradict each other. This can create people to notice the little things, not the cute little things that you want them to notice but the little negative things. Going for the big picture is definitely the best option.

Of course some of you are asking well, where are these May wedding flowers, let me list off a few for you: Roses, Amaranthus, Hyacinths, Tulips, Ranunculus, Lily of the Valley, Gerberas, Peonies, Star Gazer Lily, Assortment of Lilies, Daisies, Daffodils, Boronia, SweetPea, and Waxflowers.

This isn’t all the May wedding flowers, but it is a start. These flowers can become the big picture, they can mold together and make people fall in love with your surroundings. You do not want the surroundings to be the main event, you want it to be there to complement the bride. This is another key thing that needs to come into play when setting up the May wedding flowers.

If you have someone busy looking at all the gorgeous flowers during the time when you are walking up the aisle then you have hit the disaster mark. This is usually hard to pull off, but because of that it makes it that much harder to deal with. Know where you want each May wedding flower, and know that each individual flower is going to come together to complement the bride.

This day is all about the bride, therefore the May wedding flowers at the reception hall, the ceremony, everywhere flowers are going to be need to be able to complement the bride not over take her. If the flowers are set up correctly the bride will be able to stop anywhere and not disappear but stand out. This is what every bride wishes for, this is what creates the moment where the bride can look back at wedding pictures and see that she was the star of the night.
