Meaning

Thank you for understanding, frigidity, heartlessness

Origins

Hydrangeas, which belong to the Saxifragaceae family, originated in North America, South America and Asia. Their name comes from the Greek words hydor, which means "water," and aggeion, which means "vessel," referring to the shape of the flowers' seed caps. Hydrangea florets' rounded shapes have gained them popularity in recent years.

Availability and Vase Life

May through November. 4-10 days.

Care and Handling

Hydrangeas are wilt sensitive, so limit time out of a water source. Generally dries well as long as you select the older, more developed flowers as younger flower heads tend to shrivel in the drying process.

Design Uses

Colorations and textural interest make this a wonderful addition to summer style bouquets. Hydrangea is popular in wedding designs.
